Empowering women's health, together.

Our mission

A foundation of confidence, autonomy & holistic well-being.

Health4Her is a non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) with a mission to empower women's health. Our dedication lies in fostering a community where women can access precise and empowering information, enabling them to make informed decisions about their well-being. Committed to knowledge-sharing, support, and inclusivity, we aim to empower women throughout their health journeys, building a foundation of confidence, autonomy, and holistic well-being.

01

Empowering informed choices

Educational workshops and accessible health information equip women to make confident, informed decisions about their care.

02

Building supportive networks

Community support groups and online forums create space to share experiences, seek advice, and offer one another solidarity.

03

Encouraging regular check-ups

Partnerships with healthcare professionals promote regular screening, leading to earlier detection and intervention.

Who we walk alongside

Care shaped around the community it serves.

Culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate support isn't a bolt-on — it's built with each community, in partnership with local healthcare professionals in Leicester and beyond.

South Asian mothers

Home of JanamApp — culturally tailored, multilingual maternal health information for South Asian mothers throughout pregnancy and beyond.

Somali women

Working alongside Somali women in Leicester to build antenatal and postnatal support that reflects their language and cultural context.

Black mothers

Addressing the well-documented inequalities in Black maternal health outcomes through community-rooted, trusted information and connection.

Kurdish women

Partnering with Leicester healthcare professionals to deliver antenatal education, labour choices and postnatal care in Kurdish women's own language.

Beyond the essentials

Health is more than a check-up.

Raising awareness

Wellness initiatives and campaigns build understanding of women's health conditions — leading to earlier detection and proactive prevention.

Enhancing mental health

Holistic well-being programmes and empowerment events address stressors, promote mindfulness, and foster a positive community spirit.

Skill development

Online courses and resources give women practical tools for daily life — supporting personal development and self-sufficiency.
